Gynecological care
Good GYN care is essential in every stage of a woman's life; physical exams should be scheduled yearly to maintain good health.
State-of-the-art care and procedures are offered for women of all ages at Colbert OB-GYN PC. In addition to evaluating your specific problems, your doctor will take time to get to know you personally.
If you require surgery, we provide many outpatient procedures as well as surgeries that only require an overnight hospital stay. We even offer robotic surgery.
Ultrasound services
You can schedule an ultrasound during your initial visit to determine the fetal age, and another at 20 weeks to determine fetal growth. You can even purchase a CD of still images.
Colbert OB-GYN PC also offers gender ultrasounds - which should be scheduled at 16 weeks out - and 3D / 4D options - which should be scheduled between 28 and 32 weeks (by appointment only), although these are not included in routine OB care. Payment must be made on the day of your appointment; gender ultrasounds are $40, while 3D / 4D ultrasounds are $125. GYN ultrasounds are also provided.
Bone density scanning
Millions of men and women are diagnosed with bone loss every year - a condition that can lead to osteoporosis. You can work toward healthier, stronger bones through proper medication, diet, and exercise.
If you are at risk for bone loss, Colbert OB-GYN PC can perform an in-office bone density scan. Post-menopausal women should be tested every two years, to ensure that bones remain thick and strong. Our physicians are experienced in the treatment of both osteoporosis and osteopenia.
Women's health
No matter what age you might be, the staff at Colbert OB-GYN PC provides outstanding obstetric care.
In addition to our OB and GYN services, you can count on services that are needed early and later in a woman's life. We offer vaccinations for HPV, teach contraceptive management, and can even perform routine GYN surgeries.
Obstetrical care
At Colbert OB-GYN PC, we believe that every new life is a precious gift of God: sacred and unique. You and your unborn child can count on excellent, compassionate medical care throughout your pregnancy.
As a new OB patient, you will receive prenatal, delivery, and post-delivery care. You will also be provided with detailed information on nutrition, exercise, testing, childbirth education, anesthesia, high-risk pregnancies, and emergencies.
Your visits will take place roughly every 4 weeks until 20 weeks' gestation, every 3 weeks until 30 weeks' gestation, and even more frequent visits until your delivery.
